Daymer Bay, Fowey and Harlyn – Three New Pictures for summer 2020

There’s still plenty of fun to be had in Cornwall whilst keeping to social distancing rules. The warm weather is bringing out the best of the county. So  if you’re pining for white horses, sandcastles and gulls take a look at my three latest pictures.

Flying High On Daymer Bay

Cornwall is famous for its brisk sea winds and what better way to enjoy them than with a kite. But don’t worry if you can’t get airborne, grab a shovel like nippers here on Daymer Bay – and get dug in!

Sea Gulls watch the crabbing at Fowey

I’ve always had a soft spot for Fowey, possibly due to its connection with Daphne du Maurier. And there’s always things going on at Albert Quay, at the back of the car park close to the Fowey River Gallery. Messing about on boats, pasty lunches and hungry gulls.

School’s Out Harlyn

One of the good things about lockdown is it’s given youngsters who would otherwise be at school the opportunity to brush up on their surfing skills here Harlyn.  Just down the road from The Padstow Studio in Duke Street where you can sea this picture.
