Rendezvous Goldsmiths

Snap Happy On Constantine

Snap Happy On Constantine

If you find yourself in north Wales, between now and the beginning of December do call in at the wonderful Ruthin Craft Centre.  It was a real privilege to be invited to show at Rendevous, where three of my pictures sit alongside those by a number of other artists who either studied or taught at London’s Goldsmiths College, where I was a student in the late 1970s.  The idea is to show the impact of Goldsmiths College then and now with work from students and teachers still producing to this day.

This is how the Ruthin Craft Centre describes the exhibition: ‘There are three pieces of my works on show: Snap Happy On Constantine, Wet Suit Weather and Dog Day on Primrose Hill. I am also delighted that two of my Goldsmith friends are showing there too. Sally Spens, my partner for so many years in the textile company, Bentley & Spens, and Sue Kinley, who like Sally lives in Cornwall and did for a while teach art at Falmouth.  There are two display cases of Bentley & Spens if you’d like to see how my work has evolved.’
